Rick Bingham, BA, AADC, CAS, LCDC
Rick has worked in the field of substance abuse disorder treatment for 44 years. Currently, Rick is a partner with Addiction Recovery Associates, owns his own practice called Purple Bandana Education and Recovery Service, works as a prn group facilitator with Arise Recovery Centers, provides counseling and acupuncture treatments for Exult Health Care, and continues to work as a consultant and case manager for the Anti-Aging and Longevity Center of Texas. Rick is highly involved as a group facilitator, counselor, speaker, CEU provider, trainer, & acu-detox specialist. Rick has served on various boards including: USAOTP (past president), and the Dallas Chapter of TAAP (past president). Rick served on the first board of the Wilderness Trek Christian Camp (1980). In 2017, Rick was given the SABAL award for contributions to the MAT modality of recovery. Rick was the first recipient of the Marie Huggett Volunteer Award (Fort Worth TAAP) in 2010. He has been a member of TAAP since 1994. He is married, has 5 children and 13 grandchildren, and one great grand son. For leisure he enjoys camping, golf, photography, woodworking, guitar, Navajo flute, singing, and public speaking.
